I am sure that there is a thread somewhere about King Kong but I can't find it. Anyway I remember the original "piece of artwork" when it was in the Bull Ring Centre and then at a car sales yard out on Moseley Road somewhere. I am sure members asked if anyone knew where the original had gone, well today there is an article in The Guardian telling us that in 1976 it was sold to a businessman and displayed in Edinburgh.. It now resides in Cumbria in the garden of the widow of the businessman.

King Kong Statue

We had a bloomin great King Kong gorilla in the centre in the 1960,s , then it went out to camp hill as an advert for Guess what KING KONG motors.. Then what happened to it ??
