Hi could you please help with this query I am trying to find the name of
Henry Kindon 1828 spouse I have been given information that it is Martha Bolus fielding.1826 married 5th December 1847. On the certificate its got Henry Kendon do you think this is the same Henry. I was told that Henry had signed with a cross. I thought that perhaps he could not read he might not have known his name was spelt wrong. Henry's father was James Kindon 1799

I believe you have the correct marriage.
1851 Round hill Aston
transcribed Rendon but looks like Kendon
Henry 23, Plater b. Worcs Northfield
Martha 23 born Manchester
Joseph 2
Edward 7 months both b. Aston

In 1861 living in Lichfield Road Henry 33 Edge tool plater
Martha 31 Joseph 12,Edward 10,George 8,Walter 3,Mary 1
name indexed as Kendon but original shows Kindon.

1871 Chesshire street aston name Kinden
Henry age 45 Plater
Martha,
Edward 20,George 18,Walter 13,Mary 11,Thomas 6.Louisa 3

In 1851 James Kindon b 1801 Worcs, Edge tool plater living with his family in Chesshire Street Aston

1841 Nechells Park road
James Kindon, Edge tool plater with family including Henry age 12 none born in Warks.

If you check the certificate for occupation of father it should verify if this is your family as James appears not to have changed his occupation over the years,Henry following the same occupation.

In 1881 Martha Snr is living with her son Walter and daughter Martha as a widow.
