Pollypops, I am sorry if I talked too much today but thats what happens when I have been cooped in the motor with my little wrinkle and Maggie. Their rule is 'NO TALKING UNLESS YOU ARE FEMALE'. But they go at it ten to the dozen. It reaches a crescendo and can be ear shattering. Otherhalf just pretends he is deaf but I am too old to learn new tricks.

Stitcher - you made me giggle today :D- all those sat-nav jokes. To be honest I think the NO TALKING UNLESS YOU ARE FEMALE rule is a good one!!!!

We have been given a large number of bulbs to plant and any help would be great. I think Brian deserves the help!:)

Times 10-1 & 2-4.

If anyone would like to come and help plant up graves beside the paths and/or their own relatives - as well as the 2 islands - that would be fantastic.

Small trowel, gloves, a dibber to make holes with... that's all that is needed
apart from food, drink, a smile, sensible shoes, possibly kneepads, Brolly, etc.

Dear Wendy, I'm at the moment 10,000 miles away, can't plant bulbs.
Will be in Birmingham Autumn 2010, happy to plant and split bulbs, do general weeding, prune and help out.
Thanks for all your help.

That's very kind of you Ladywood to be honest we could do with all the help we can get. The problem with Key Hill and Warstone Lane is they don't generate any revenue, because burials no longer take place there. The council do help with leaf clearing, strimming and they have re erected some memorials. We try to work hand in hand with the staff at Handsworth as they control Key Hill and Warstone Lane. We have a very good relationship but I fear without people like Brian and Colin all this work would never have happened. I will post the clear up days for next year when I get the dates. I will have to do it as and when as the forum calendar seems to have disappeared.

so glad you had a good time yesterday folks....such a worthwhile cause....i fully intended to be at this one but hopefully i will be at the next....

i havent done this for a while but yes......shame on you froth:headhit::headhit:

As you all know "I TURNED UP" even though I was outnumbered and overburdened with Maggieuk. After twenty minutes of her throwing a tantrum because she wanted liquorice, what a breath of fresh air to see POLLYPOPS, ooh her and Wendy together, ooh dear me what a delightful sight and so quiet and charming as well. Then I see she agrees with Maggie 'men are not superior'. What a way to ruin a mans Sunday!!
