Key Hill Cemetery burial lookup please

cvearncombe

proper brummie kid
Could someone please do a lookup for the following burials in the Key Hill registers:
Glewitz Alfred 1905 Reg No: 45793 3 in Grave MI
Glewitz Barnard 1908 Reg No: 47144 3 in Grave MI
Glewitz Mary Ellen 1947 Reg No: 58220 3 in Grave MI
Glewitz Dorothy Reg No: 52822.

The first 3 are probably the 3 in one grave. Also is it possible to obtain the grave locations, and what it says on the Memorial Inscription?
Thank you in advance.

Chris

Hi again Chris

Alfred, Bernard and Mary Ellen are in section R grave no 180

Inscription
In loving memory of Alfred Glewitz who died September 20th 1905 aged 18 years. Also his father Fredrick Bernard Glewitz who died June 29th 1908 aged 45 years. Also Mary Ellen Glewitz wife of the above who fell asleep April 9th 1947 aged 83 years. "Oh for the touch of a vanished hand and the sound of voices so still"

Dorothy is in section C 317 I don't know if there was a memorial but many were lost in this area near to Key Hill entrance sadly there is no memorial.

Hope this helps.

Hi Wendy
Many thanks for your quick reply and the information. When I'm next in Birmingham it will be my first port of call. Thank you again.
