hi sue...you will find that the older pics can be dark...also some of the subjects look almost ghostly....although conditions were not good by any means i noticed that this yard is clean and there are some pots inside the one house...i guess they did their best to cheer up what can only be discribed as a very drab existance...i get my pics from lots of places..books and mags..and some are sent to me via my contacts...
