Kench’s Chip Shop Balsall Heath

Since there seem to have been a lot of you taking pictures around this time, I've got someone looking for a picture of Kench's chip shop as a single building (everything else demolished). I'm not entirely sure whether it was on Gooch St or Longmore St but it would be around the late 60s early 70s. He saw a picture like that in the most recent of the ORT gallery exhibitions so he's decided it must have been Mendelsohn that took it. If anyone has got a picture of the shop from that period, could they please get in touch. It will probably be used in research for the Balsall Heath local history society so say who took the picture and they'll get credit.

It was part of the Janet Mendelsohn exhibition, and it was Longmore Street. Was it at the ORT I don't recall seeing it.

I don't remember it at the exhibitions in Balsall Heath. It was probably in the exhibition at the Ikon Gallery when Janet visited Brum, as it is included in the book issued at the time
