Hi all. Im trying to find out what happened to the Kemp family after the 1920 census. They are registered at 75 Dollman Street on 1920 electoral register but then 'disappear'. There were 4 sisters, Eliza, Sarah, Hannah and May on the 1911 census and these had all left home by 1920 so I think they may have married but I do not know their married names. Word passed down through the family is that one of the sisters may have left for America.

Any more clues or help would be much appreciated!

Carole

Here are some possible marriages for three of the sisters.

Eliza Kemp married Astley September quarter 1922 ref. Birmingham 6d 763
Hannah Kemp married Clarke December quarter 1923 ref Birmingham 6d 691
May E Kemp married Purvin June quarter 1925 ref Birmingham N 6d 845
May Kemp married Smith June quarter 1930 ref Birmingham N 6d 870

I couldn't find a marriage for Sarah.

Thank you so much for your time doing that for me. Its much appreciated - sometimes tracing family is like beating your head against a wall and other times its the biggest thrill ;) Carole
