Hi
Alex Govan the Blues winger said he started it during the cup run in 1955/6 when Blues lost to Man City 3-1. He also said he had when interviewed before this years Carling Cup.
Cheers
Dave
Apparently Alex Govan sang Keep right on to the players on the way to wembley in 1956 ,by the time they arrived at wembley the players were all singing It. And as they got off the coach the Blues supporters heard them singing and joined in, as they say the rest is history.
Didn,t you Blue Noses sing" Keep right on to the end of Cattell Road " as that is where the shed was?? or was it at the Tilton Road anyway it was round there somewhere. Dek
