Hi all, Just new to the forum.
This is a complete shot in the dark but im looking for info on a chap whos name i believe was Karamat Ullah. The era is around 1949 and im guessing he might be in his twenties at that time but not sure. I also believe he might have worked at the rope works? I think this would have been Wrights rope works?
I'm also wondering what country this surname might have originated from and also whether there was already a growing asian population in that area in this era?
