Joseph Hollis married Ada V Ward,Birmingham North Sept 1924 6d 1197.

Ada Violet Ward born 1905,Aston

id just found the same as alberta as there is nothing on st martins for them. the disc is for earlier records, hardly any in the 20th century.

can you find me anything for a marriage between Henry John Warren and Alice Horton (doing this for my cousin!)
Alice was born in 1898.... no other info :(
 
im afraid ive had no luck with this one. hope someone else can help. it would be easier if we knew if it was bham and also round about what year.

Definitely birmingham - they were already living with Frederick and Jessie Horton in 1935 (from the electoral roll).
Son Henry born c1929.....
 
Can i just ask who your Joseph's parents were and what year he was born please? I have a Joseph Hollis in my Aunts Husbands side born 1891 to a Joseph and Eliza, Claire

This is my cousin's side of the family, which I'm researching for her.
I haven't got back any further than the info I've already given!
Would be interested to have whatever info you have - normally the family should be somewhere round the Aston area....
 
That seems to match with what i have, if you can find out more info later on, as the Joseph i have is the brother to Florence Hollis who married Thomas Price and had Arthur born Aston who married my Aunt, they lived at Lord Road according to the Marriage Certificate, I have a little info on them so if it turns out its the same family you can have the info i have, Claire

Joseph Hollis Sr was born to Benjamin Hollis and Jane Lissaman...
