If anyone is related or descended from Ada and David Jones or their family, I would be pleased to hear from them. Ada's maiden name was Mitchell. At the time of the 1911 census, the family consisted of two girsl. Ethal Ada and Amy, and two boys, Horace and Eric.

Common name I know, but thought it worth a try.

Thanks Harborne, never thought of that. I used to belong to many Rootsweb mailing lists, only on two at the moment, but not heard of this one. it's only an extension of my family, and they may have eventually come back to Birmingham where they started, but I might just give it a try.
