Hello I am looking for any information on my father's relations Alfred george jones
Son of Thomas reeves jones and Elizabeth jones brother of Leslie jones RAMC deceased 23 june 1943 catania scicily Bromford Lane Erdington
Father was a laith spinner in Birmingham made saucepans etc and spitfire nose cones in the war then we moved to NI just outside of Belfast in 1967 more to come thank you
 
Alfred George Jones was born 27 Nov 1906 Birmingham. Parents were Thomas Geaves (not Reeves) Jones and Elizabeth Nash. Apart from Leslie he had at least 3 other siblings - Florence Agnes b1899, Thomas Walter b1904 & Hilda b1909.

They lived at 56 Westmead Crescent in the 1930s. Alfred hadn't married by 1939.

Thomas Geeves Jones & Elizabeth Nash are my paternal great-grandparents. Their son Thomas Walter Jones is my grandfather, his son Leslie John Jones is my father, who sadly passed away 8th March 2016.
 
Hello stardew I am glad you sent reply my father was Alfred george jones I am martyn Leslie jones so that means we are 1st cousins nice to make contact with you first of my father's side of the family if you would like to have more contact please msg me and I can give more details I have found cousin's in brum on mums side and come up as often as I can best regards m
