I am researching John and Annie Chadwick Family, does anyone one have detail, on this family, Did they own a business, what work did they do, etc.
Thank You
There seems to be a John Chadwick born 1847 in Madeley Shropshire on the 1901 census and the employment looks like "china ....." but I am not sure what but he is listed as a worker. He has a wife Annie, daughter Florence born 1877 and son Samuel born 1880. The address is 51 and what looks like Oughton Road but the writing is hard to decipher.
In 1891 it looks as if he was a china gilder with some older children all born in Hanley (in the Potteries). Is this them? In 1881 his wife is listed as Eliza A. By 1911 he seems to have given up on the china trade.
