If you have a relative who played for the Villa/Preston/England in the 1920-30s or are a supporter, you may be interested in the Facebook page my brother has created on my grandfather, Joe Beresford. He has painstakingly added hundreds of photos, articles and lots of information on the teams and players in the hope that descendants of players who played with Joe will get in touch to share info. Please take a look. There is also a newspaper article about the New Inns Pub, Newton Road which he managed.
