Jiggins Lane

Although I have access to 1901 & 1911 census records by address I am unable to get the search to find Jiggins Lane despite trying all possible areas for it. I am interested in finding out about one particular property which according to survey was built around 1901. Please can anyone help me?

RG14 PN17883 covers Jiggins Lane
RG14PN17883 RG78PN1091 RD383 SD1 ED60 SN32. This ref refers to a Frank Withers who lived at 217 Jiggins Lane
I initially looked up Genners Lane and then looked at a random family, then checked the enumeraters list at the top of the image, then picked a name from Jiggins Lane and then scrolled backwards/forwards.
Hope suggestion helps!

This, I believe,is an earlier photo. The owner is A. Homer and the advertising signs are different in both photos.

Totally guesswork but the picture in post 4 might be 1969, The NoW paper ad sheet mentions Judy Garland. The remainder is, to me, unreadable, However Judy died on 22nd. June, 1969.
Next to that sign is another showing a coach companies day, half day and evening tours. Here again the coach company name is not readable. However it must a small, local company I believe.
I wonder if the chocolate and cigarette vending machines are permanently fixed or could they be taken in each day? If permanently fixed they would be a thieves target today.

1969 makes sense. I started at Newman in 1971 and have vague memories of a shop looking similar. When I travelled down Jiggins Lane to Genners Lane.

Reads Andy's Coaches to me and looks like easter eggs on display in the left shop window but none of this helps with the date.

Mrs L Hudson is listed at "The Village Stores, Bartley Green" in the 1969 phone book and still there in 1972. Will check later to see when the entry stops. Andy's Coaches also in 1972 book.

Further checking doesn't help date things as Mrs L Hudson listed as early as 1950. A Homer listed in 1949. So we know when the change took place. Mrs L Hudson is still listed in 1973 but in 1975 it is just L Hudson -I can't tell if that is because they stopped putting Mrs in the book. 1974 Birmingham is not online.

Not knowing the area I am a little undecided about what is in the photo. It is my belief that the Homer shop wall is where the signs are and the hand is pointing in the direction to the front of the shop. i.e. around the corner.
