Jewish cemeteries

Astonian

gone but not forgotten
hi guys ;
BETHOLM ROW, FIVE WAYS ;
This narrow and short passage off islington row has all but disappeared. butit was the site of the Jewish cemetry
From 1823 until 1870, VIVEREN BIRD. states that in Hebrew,BETH OLom means the city of dead,
There is another Jewish cemetry called BETH OLom in Brooklyn. new york ;
I am presuming this is the grave yard you can se over the wall by the five ways railway station
which looking from a bus or from the street on the highway its seems its all locked down there and there is no exit ;
as it sounds a world of wildeness on its own ; can anybody comfirm thats the one she spoke about
at the side of the old rail way ; i beleive it was a jewish grave yard many yuears ago ;
have a nice day everybody ; astonian ;;

topic of them ; i do have an intrest in them myself in one way or another so i was right in the first place after all these years thinking they wasjewish graves ; [ thats great ] to have you confirm it for me ;

which you used to be the old hospital just off broad street and i know the commutity of rdgebaston very well and the jewish commutity past and present even some of those grown up now as they was kids when i knew them attendthe pershore rd one ; once again mike many thanks for your respponce so quickly ; have a nice day even thou its a wet afternoon ; best wishes astonian ;;
