Jacob Winter Tailor

Dear Gang,

I am trying to trace information about my Grandfather- Jacob Winter who had a tailoring business in birmingham from 1898-1946.
He had shops at 66 Digbeth, 87 Latimer Street, 51 Vere street, 204 Gooch street, amongst others and I believe a four storeyed factory at 56 bristol Street from 1918-1932.

He at one time resided at 43 Charlotte Street, Edgbaston 1931-1934

If anybody remembers the family and business I would love to hear from them.

Also would 56 Bristol street have had 4 storeyed properties in 1918-1932?
Cheers,
Gareth
