hi anyone have any pictures of this park played in it every day when i was young happy days witches hat swings etc mary
 
Hi Mary, do you mean the one in Small Heath? by Keeley St, more of a 'black patch' than a park if I remember right, sorry no pictures I'm afraid.

I played many games of football using a tennis ball with about 30 lads on each side from the local factories, i worked at the Post Office Engineering works opposite The Sportsmans Arms in Garrison Lane.
 
Not that it matters, but the original 'Itchycoo Park' was in Whitechapel, London, and the one referred to by the Small Faces in their eponymous song....

....it was a place where the local tramps, dossers, drop-outs, etc., gathered, and you don't need me to tell you that 'itchycoo' referred to fleas....
