Is this Anderton or Alexander Street?

This photo was labelled Anderton- Alexander Street.. At first I thought it menat by the junction, but soon realised that they did not meet, and are parallel. So we dont really know if they are either. Any ideas?

Doesn't answer the question but there is a Phyllis Nicklin photo labelled similarly

Seems to fit as being Alexandra Street quite well.

Does look as if the ends of Anderton and Alexandra Streets are very close together on King Edward
