Inland Revenue building Paradise Street Hill Street

Just before demolition in 1913.

We’re familiar with the old GPO building on Victoria Square, but there seems to have been one next door at the junction of Paradise Street/Hill Street. The 1888 map below shows the site as the GPO. By 1902/11 the B&W map shows the building as the Inland Revenue offices. Viv
