Hi,
Don't know too much about the BB, but they used to parade at the Methodist church in Lyttelton Road Stechford
back in the 50's. I was in the Lifeboys for a short time, and we used to meet in an old schoolroom in Victoria Road
near the junction of Frederick Road, which was just behind the Church and the Morley Hall.
If your dad lived anywhere near the Richmond pub, it would have only been a short walk away.
Sadly all gone now, (including the Richmond!)

Thank you, funnily enough we lived on Old Farm rd Stetchford but dad was already in tge army by then. But thank you for responding
