In a Mess

Ewan

master brummie
I have from the IGI a marriage between a John Cox and a Sarah Brotherton in 1806 Edgbaston. There is a birth of a John Brotherton Cox in 1838, baptised St Phillips Birmingham a son of John Brotherton Cox and Eliza .

Can someone help me out of the pickle I have found myself in with this please?

There must be a missing generation with this eg a son of John Cox and Sarah Cox (nee Brotherton) named also as John Brotherton Cox. Hoping someone can please help as a different brain is needed I think.

Thank you for any suggestion.

Re: In a Mess (NOW OUT OF IT!)

It was the baptism of the son of John Cox and Sarah Cox (nee Brotherton) that I was missing, he was baptised as John Brotherton Cox in 1809 at St Phillips that I was missing, I had it written down but was getting in a mess with it all.

It is now all sorted out. Thank you for you help and interest though Ladylinda.
