I've been vaccinated against depression and I think it's just as well
Cos most people that I meet these days seem to have a sad story to tell

"Everything's going to wrack and to ruin, I've got flu, a bad back and a boil"
"Hi Mr Rogers, long time no see, how are the wife and the sons?"
"The one son's in jail. the other's on bail and for three days the wife's had the runs"
"Hello Mr. Davis, you're looking quite well, I'm glad that you're up and about"
"Looking quite well ?, a lot you can tell !. I've got flu, botulism and gout"
Yes I listen to the moans each day. they carp. they gripe. they whinge
But my cheerfulness keeps it all at bay, except for this sudden twinge
