You may have read my plea for any photographs of the Midland Davy Lamp Works at 20-22 Lower Lawley Street. Since then I've contacted the the Birmingham Post & Mail to see if their archive houses any photos of Lower Lawley Street, but sadly drew a blank. After the Midland Davy Lamp Works moved to Belmont Passage, Icke & Co, Confectioners occupied and extended the premises at 20-22 Lower Lawley Street up until around 1900, and my last hope is that someone might have a connection with that company and even better, a photo of the building. I remain hopeful.
