In 1993 a group of busmen from Yardley Wood and Birmingham Central garages were able to drive a double decker Scania bus, usually on the 50 route, to the Bohemia Autofest in the Czech Republic. Whilst there a day trip to Polaqnd was included. This must be the furthest a Birmingham based service bus has travelled - unless you know different. Thye same bus completed the same journey again in 1995!
