The 1872 PO directory , which probably refers largely to 1871, lists:
Mrs Elizabeth Horton as a shopkeeper at 11 Charles Henry St
John Horton builder , 89 Bath Row
Elizabeth, according to the census is 65, but her daughter (Marie Sarah) and grandchildren live at back no 11
John (61) lives with wife and unmarried daughters Selina (30) and Louisa (36)
