Hughes/Harris

gizmo

knowlegable brummie
I'm trying to find any information on

David Charles Hughes (born possibly 1869 not sure where),
He married Kate Harris(born possibly 1871) of West Bromwich again don't know when or where.

They had a daughter called Martha hughes born 1891 (definately) who married Arthur Dyas born1895 (definately)in 1916 at Birmingham registar office.

At the time Arthur and Martha married David and Kate Hughes were living at 39 Gladys Road, Bearwood, Birmingham.

I would like to know anything about these people as i only know so little at the moment and i don't have any relatives who could help shed any light about them.

Thanks in advance to anyone for trying :)

Some time a marriage was not always in the county where a couple lived, so if you have no luck in Staffs, cast your net a bit further afield. :)

I am having probs posting, so scroll down to see censu info I found O0

Thank you so much for the help. I've still got a lot to learn on tip and trick of finding names and places but i think it could be the the right hughes/harris the ages fits and address.this gives me new names to work with to see if she had any sibblings.I'm thinking out loud sorry, I start off with one name then get distracted off on another. I started my search with my fathers name 'Dyas' as he knew next to nothing about his family, his grandparents are the hughes but then on me mums side i find her sister went from a cummings to a hughes when she married Basil and lived in worcester around the 1950's and now i've got a whole new lot of hughes to decifer that aren't connected to the other ones. Confused yet i am.

I think the people on this sight are wonderful and have been a great help in my quest to find the key to my past.
Thanks again everyone xx
