I am trying to trace any information on Douglas and Joan Howard.
Joans maiden name was Caldwell and we think she was born in 1920 and married in 1940. We think there were some children but don't know any names.

Joans father was Albert John Campion Caldwell (b 1882) and Annie Elizabeth Dixon (b c 1882). Albert changed his name we think to Albert Edward Campion Caldwell and may even have dropped the Campion part.
Joan had a brother also called Albert Edward (b1908) and possibly a sister Annie(b1910). This family lived in Bellis Street in Birmingham.

had a quick look and two children come up straight away for howard/caldwell

Douglas J and Joan Howard lived at 81 Gillott road in 1945 and 1950 with Phyllis booth, Frank Bennett and Kathleen M.Dench. In 1950 there was just them & Phyllis booth. Phyllis was placed first in the listing, so may have been a landlady.
Albert Edward C (1920) or Albert Edward Campion Caldwell (1930-1939) lived at 3 Monument Square , Bellis St, with Annie Elizabeth Caldwell 1920-1939. In 1945 and 1950 they were at no 3 back 35 Bellis St. I am pretty certain that 3 back 35 and 3 monument square are the same house but names/numbering have just been altered.. In 1945 and 1950 a John W.Dixon was at 2 back 35 Bellis St and earlier he (John William) was there with a Mary Anne Dixon.
