I know some of these house were built in the 30's, around and backing on to Perry Hall playing fields (park) I would be very grateful if any one can help
We lived in Glendower Road, moved there in 1952 I think. All I know is that the houses in the area were built in the 1930's and our house was used by the Forces (American?) during the war.
My parents have passed away now I'm afraid or I could ask them if they remembered anything else about the history.
We moved in in59/60 Mom and Dad paid £1200 it was a very happy house it was a lovely area as well. I moved from there when I got married in78 to Curbar Road we paid £7200 for it, sold it 2 years later for £12000 and moved away from Brum
Thank you Pedrocut
