If the street that you want to find house number in still exists and you have a Tomtom.
Go to BROWSE MAP. Find street, tap curser on street and house numbers come up, by moving around street you can find individual house number.

Just as a note in regards to this, the house numbers on the TomTom are not always accurate as its a mathmatical equasion that works out where they are.

Only 37% of streets with numbers on them in the TomTom maps have been varified as correct.

Whilst it is good as a guide, dont trust it as gospel!

Thanks
Keith

I have several addresses in Lower Tower Street back-to-back houses, with the first number being the house on the street, itself. Now, of course there are no houses in the street - just factory units and the like. Is there any way of fixing where about in the street particular houses were, before the slum clearance?

I believe there it is possible that you may find what you are looking for in Local Studies of Birmingham Central Library.
