i have had a look and cant see this photo on the site so i thought i would post it. took on the corner of hospital and brearley st. you can see the large crater left by the bomb and the damage caused to the pub which was the rose and crown. the shop on the other corner was the chip shop. thats one chippy they didnt get. the rose and crown was put back together. but alas demolished some years later. wales.
 
now youve started me off dave. at least the chippy never got battered and them germans were a load of old cods wallop. ha ha ps just found a pic of the white hart pub bracebridge st 1944. do you want it. if so i will post it under pubs. wales.
