Hi all, please may I ask for your help?

I am looking for the children of SYLVIA and MICHAEL HOLMES married in Loughboro 1959

Their first child was born in 1959 in Loughboro named STEPHEN.

Another child SALLY was born 1966 in OAKHAM.

I am wondering if there are anymore children.

Also does anyone have any idea how I can try to trace SYLVIA and MICHAEL?

Sylvia was a friend of mine in the 1950's and we lost touch after we both gt married.

Hi Rowan :) Your best bet is to search the Electoral Rolls for
Michael & Sylvia Holmes maybe from their address & date of Sally,s birth 1966 Oakham,
Also the Telephone Directories again from the same era & Area, hoping they not moved away?
Others may have better suggestions too,

Thank you so much John for your reply. I have tried the BT online directory but they are not listed...........proberbly ex directory :cry:

Michael was a drag act in the 1970's going under the name of "Andy", his photo was in the News of the World once and I had every intention of getting in touch with them via the newspaper BUT......... life and trials prevented me!!!!:(

Where can I access the Electoral Rolls? are they online?

I srarted to look for you but i am having terrible problems with Ancestry, after a couple of images have loaded i can't access any more, i am waiting to hear from them.
Anyhow, i found the marriage so if anyone picks up on this it will help them when looking for the kids

Sorry about this, i am still having problems with Ancestry not showing images, have been into my registry twice trying to fix it and it's doing my head in but i managed to find 2 more births, again in Leicestershire --
