I'm looking for any sighting of Susannah Holmes b.abt.1891. after the 1911 Census. Ive found a possible marriage to a George W. Coley in 1914 but cant confirm. Otherwise I cant find any trace of her. Can anyone help please. Thanks.

I couldn't find a death for a Susannah Coley of the right age.

However there is a marriage registered for a Susannah Coley to a Arthur H Nevett Mar qtr 1925 Bham N and a death registered for a Susannah Nevett aged 77 Sep qtr 1967 Bham.

Sorry, scratch that. There are some Nevett/Coley children registered in Bham N, so I think I was bit too eager.

Probably a different one, but electoral roll for 1930 gives a Susannah Holmes at 1 back 47 Sampson road North, with Martha, William Charles & Laura Herbert

There appears to be a marriage for a Susannah Holmes and an Eric Rogers Sep qtr 1928 on freeBMD. They have the same volume and page number but she is listed as Bham S and he Bham N.

A simple search on findmypast gives no results for a Rogers/Holmes marriage in 1928

theres a george william coley and agnes susannah coley living 239 short heath rd. erdington in 1930. the marriage you mentioned was a george w coley.

cant see them together any other dates though??

Lynne- I assume you have seen the baptism record of Susanna Holmes (b 30 April 1891) baptised 13 May 1891 at St James the Less Ashted? Parents William and Sarah. Address Adam Street.

Thanks everyone for your time and trouble, I have checked some of the info but still cant confirm that its the right one, thanks Janice, yes I have the bapt, I've also found her on the Census named as Susan and then Susie. I found a birth for a Lily M Coley, mmn Holmes in June 1915 but she seems to have disappeared as well. Thanks once again all.
