Looking for the parents and family of Joseph Hollis born sometime c 1900-1905? Normally around the Aston, Nechells, Erdington area somewhere.....
Married with Ada Violet Ward (born in Aston 1905) in 1924 -have the marriage and her family - thanks in advance!

hollis,s lived in berners st many years ago and was connected to a couple of pubs
in and around the aston era andthey lived up around the top end of erdinton
more or less facing the queens head and they also lived four doors from another pub in berners st aston which if my memory serves me right they was connected to
at one time gone bye

If you have not already got the marriage cert then i would suggest sending for it, it will have his fathers name on there, then send for the birth cert that linda has given you details for. When you send for this cert you can stipulate it must have fathers given name, if it isn't the same then they will not send it.
