Super photograph, the picture brought so many happy memories back of Hockley Primary, I attended the school from 1959 until 1964 and was awarded a bible in 1964 from Mrs Smith the Headmasters wife. Is the school still there or is now a housing estate. Does anyone know the the name of the church opposite the school? Does anyone remember teachers such as Mr Brown, deputy head, Mr Berry who always smelt of garlic, and gave French lessons, Mrs Foster the music teacher, Mrs Dugard and Mr Smith the HeadMaster.

the school was farm st infants and juniors and i remember the head master and teachers mentioned in post 1... i am now locking this thread and here is an extensive thread for farm st school...
