I would be grateful if someone could look up the following marriage in St Martins PR's for me. I'm looking for any extra info the PR's might contain for the marriage of Thomas HEWSON to Sarah LEONARD which took place on 14 sep 1834. Thomas HEWSON was a widower having been previously married to Caroline ALLEN. I think Caroline was buried on 11 May 1834 at St Martins but again would be grateful if anyone has access to burial records and could check this for me. Thomas HEWSON appears in the 1841 Census living in Summer Lane, Birmingham but not in the 1851 Census but I have been unable to find a death in the intervening years for him. Many thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Thanks very much for the very quick response. That's definitely the family I have been looking for. Lydia Hodgetts was Caroline Allen's sister. Still having trouble tracking Thomas Hewson back though as I can't be sure of his age even though the 1841 census records him as being 45yrs. Neither he nor his second wife Sarah appear in the 1851 census so I'm working on the basis that they both died sometime between 1841-1851 but can find no deaths listed in the Birmingham area. The Allen family is proving quite a struggle aswell as there are so many William Allen's who could have been the father of Caroline & Lydia! Thanks again though, at least I know I'm on the right track!
