Herbert Ernest Help finding date of death

I am probably being a bit thick (am new to this) but could anyone help me find a year of death for Ernest Herbert. He was born in Appleford, Berkshire in 1874 but is listed on the Birmingham census for 1901/1911 so he presumably died here. Many Thanks, K ps what a great forum. Have already had a lot of help - will hopefully be able to return the favour someday.

ernest herbert 1925 jul-sep coventry warwickshire 6d 582

born abt 1874 51 yrs old

Free BMD shows death registration of an Ernest Herbert in Coventry Sept Qtr. 1925 age 51. The dates add up.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Don't think it can be 'my Ernest' as - as far as I know - he died in Birmingham. Why do some people just seem to disappear???! K
