Hemming family - Staffordshire

Hello, I am looking for the Hemming family in Staffordshire on the 1939 census and believe
they may have been living in the West Bromwich area.

Any help much appreciated..

More info needed. There are a number of Hemming families listed in West Brom on the 1939 register.

Have had a further look into this and found that the record is apparently closed.

Not sure what that means, but thanks for trying on my behalf...

Can someone have a look at the marriage of Mary Ann Hemming to Matthew King, 12 May1850 Bham, and see what her father's occupation is listed as please. On Ancestry.

Thanks.

If you are referring to the "blanked out" entries on 1939 reg then it is most likely that they were possibly alive when the register was opened for general viewing. Although supposed to be updated many records remain closed.

Thanks but there's no need. It's only another case of researching for someone else getting out of hand.

The occupation didn't rule out who I think the father is but I'm still not totally convinced but the person who's tree it is probably won't get that far.
