Help and Information please

Could anyone help with information on my aunts husband Herbert Harry Barnes Military Record. He was born in India, the son of a serving soldier in 1899. His Army information that have is: Military number/s 44367, Hampshire Regiment, 45923, Royal Berkshire Regiment, 64636, Royal Worcestershire Regiment. Sorry it's a bit limited, but any help/information would be gladly received.
Thank you
jimbo

Hi jimbo, I had a look at Ancestry, they have several Herbert Barnes, the one for 1899 doesn't seem to be the right one. The record is in a poor state and barely readable in places. It says mother was Louisa and father John, and occupation farm horseman? I think it's for a Yorkshire regiment, can't make it out. Hopefully someone who is better at reading Miltary documents can have a look. If it was the right one there's lot's of family listed.
rosie.

rosie, thank you for that. I do know his father was a "serving Soldier" who died in 1908 with the rank of Garrison Sergeant Major (with colours) whatever that means

The information I have is not the best in the World but I'm hoping one of our "knowledgeable" members can help.
