Hello, I'm a bit new so please excuse me if i don't make sense!;)

I'm looking for any information on a Joseph Heathcote who married Eliza Tye in 1896, they had one child called Albert Edward Heathcote, Eliza died during childbirth i think, but i cannot find anymore information on what happened to Joseph after this.

Re: Tye, Heathcote.

Wow! Thanks for your help! wasn't expecting anything like this! :)

I'm afraid i'm still struggling with where Joseph was born, I have found a Marriage entry which is certainly theirs, so have sent off for that and will await and see if it sheds more light.

He's a bit of a mystery as the only record i have of him is this entry, nothing before and nothing after...
I know Albert was looked after by His grandmother Ann Tye, but just can't see what happened to Joseph :(

The man remains a mystery.......

Thanks again!
John Sutton.

Re: Tye, Heathcote.

Hi John, 1891 census I found this Joseph Heathcote lodging with William and Fanny Howard at 51 Haniforth Street Birmingham, Bishop Ryder district.

Joseph was 15 a Rule Maker, also at the address are Pricilla (sic) Heathcote age 21 Press Woman. William heathcote age 1. they were all born in Birmingham.

In 1881 Priscilla and Joseph's parents are shown with more children. It might be worth keeping just in case.
