Haunted/Spooky house adjacent to The Bell pub, Marston Green

Does anyone remember a really strange shop/house that was adjacent to The Bell pub, but set slightly behind it as I recall (so about opposite to Sharps)? I think about this place every now and then as was very interesting to us local kids. Can't recall the name of the shop or who ran it and I'd love to know that. At some point, a fire occurred there and it became abandoned. Of course, that was our opportunity to explore. It still had remnants of bygone years tucked away in the roof rafters. I recall Victorian dyes for some reason .... We always thought of it as haunted. Anyway, I guess it became too dangerous so was eventually knocked down. I think it was there before Chelmsley Wood estate was built but could be wrong.

Okay, after a bit of digging, I've come up with this. Looks as though they were called Bell Cottages with what looks like a path leading to them off Bell Lane.
