hi can anyone help me in my search for a jack hatfield, i rememeber my dads aunt taking us to see her brother in the late 1970's as he lived in aston,i think brantley road but not to sure, he died in the 1980's can not remember when and i dont jnow if he was cremated in perry barr or buried in witton cem any help would be gladly appreicated as i am starting to fill a few gaps in my tree

Hello Paul, I can find only one 'John' Hatfield death in the 1980's

March 1984 aged 67 ref Birmingham Warwickshire Volume 32 Page 1675

His birth date is given as 28 January 1917. I looked that up

March Quarter 1917 Ref Birmingham 6D 565 Mother's maiden name Herbert.

So if you know that Jack's mothers name was Herbert you know it is the correct birth and death.
