This British Association handbook contains history, geology, botany, municiple, manufacturing and institutional information, and more. Pretty wide reaching but must have been a very useful reference book to those visiting or outside the UK. Viv. Source: British Newspaper Archive, The Colonies and India
The book is available to view and download at https://archive.org/details/handbookofbirmin49622gut. I thought it used to be downloadable as a pdf, but seems it is not, now, and only as various forms such as epub, text, jpg etc
