Was wondering, does anyone on here know, if there is anyone or a group of people that keep an interest in the Greyhound track?
Does anyone keep any info, photo’s, press cuttings etc?
especially from the 1960’s.
Although we were from Coventry, we attended regularly, for many years.Had a Greyhound kennelled there, whom obviously raced there too.
We use to love the greyhound racing, made friends with some kennelmaids, too.
Any information, memories etc, would love to hear.

We very much enjoyed our time with Greyhounds.
we’re quite friendly with two kennel maids.
Sandra, and a Janet. Both ,lovely young ladies.
I do wonder where they are now?
do not know their surnames.

A brilliant post.So many memories.Sure that we would have been there.I see , Lively Kitten is running, what is more amazing , to me, is , Old Berry Star, our Greyhound was out of one of The Old Berry Dogs. Not sure which one.We collected our greyhound at 6 weeks old, about 1964 time, from The Old Berry Farm.Believe that it was around Solihull area, would anyone know?We paid, £35.00.was quite a lot of money ,in those days , to 2 young men.Brilliant, many thanks.

I was wondering, are there any young ladies on this forum, that may have been kennelmaids at Hall Green greyhounds through the 1960’s.
I recall a Sandra and a Janet.
sure that they would be well in their 70’s by now.
