bit more info...next to the hostel in pic one is a large gap..this led to houses that were set back off the road...these houses are shown in pic 2 along with the lucas factory behind

happy to post them mabz and thanks for the info you gave me on them...i was consulting my trusty 1940s map to get my bearings but you cant beat the info from one who lived there...
