There are some newspaper articles that mention a Green's Place, one says on Pinfold St and the others say at the back of the theatre so may be the same place, as there was a theatre on the top end of New St.

Earlier than the mention of Green's Place, Pinfold St there are mentions of Green's Place, Queen St. Which you can see on the map the top of which is directly behind the theatre and between it and Pinfold St. So again could be talking about the same place.

The 1855 report below shows that Green Place was a court of 33 houses leading onto Queen St at nos 23,24 and within the area circumscribed in red on the map below

The Birmingham Journal of 1857 mentions (below) William Stepney who earlier lived at 23 Green Place. The 1851 census lists a William Stepney at 23 court 6 Queens Street. It is therefore reasonable to assume that court 6 Queens St was Green's Place
