A nice postcard of the short row of shops on Gravelly Lane, near its junction with Station Road. The post office to the right is Short Heath Post Office. The pillar box is still there and it seems it was still a post office until recent years. Remember waiting at that bus stop many, many times for the #28 bus to Kingstanding, usually after finishing my Saturday job in the High Street, racing home to get ready to go out and blow all my earnings for that day.
