hi all
wonder if any body can help me
i am trying to locate my great grandfathers and mothers grave
i know they lived in mostyn rd handsworth at the time they died.
so i am wondering if they would be buired at handsworth cemetary
also can any body tell me how to go about locating a grave as i a have no idea how to go about it

Hello Celia, If you know the date of death give Handsworth Cemetery a ring and ask they hold the burial registers. Give as much info as possible because if they have to search they charge. The other way if you don't have this info is to search the indexes at Central Library, which are on microfilm.

thankyou for replying your information is vry helpfull
i have both dates of death for both great grandparents and also the address they lived in when they diedwhich was mostyn rd which makes e think it might be handsworth cem
anyway i will give handsworth cem a ring tomorrow and see whats happens if they carnt help then its off to the libary
