Hello Everyone,
I had a discussion recently with a very elderly cousin. She said that my great grandfather (who was a flint glass cutter) had cut the crystals for the big chandelier inside the entrance to the Grand Hotel in Birmingham. It would have been created around the turn of the century but she remembers being taken to see it after WW2. My questions are: Has anybody seen the interior of the Grand Hotel and if so do they recall seeing a huge chandelier just inside the entrance? Would anyone know if it is still there? Does anyone know if the building is open to the public these days? thanks.
