master brummie
I have tried my best with a search on !901 Census ( Using every name variation Of GOLDSBURY that I can think of) I now come to the 1911 Census and the same thing happens. I am looking for John Goldsbury married to Emily and they died in 1919 Emily (age 72 ) and 1921 John ( age 75 ). They were living in Windsor Street at the time of their deaths.

try Goldsbory - there is an Emilyborn 1851 living in Aston.

If you do an advanced search you can type in surname beginning Gol.

Good luck

On the 1881 cencus there is an Emily Goldsbury born 1849 Aston Birmingham, with husband John, born 1843 and an Edge Tool Maker, living at 14 Lister Square, Gt. Lister Street, which is just off Windsor Street. So these could be the ones, and just a difference on the ages. Do you have an occupation for John?

Ann
